Wherever alt text fields are not technically available within the platform, descriptions are provided through on-page copy to ensure equivalent access to information.

Accessibility is an evolving practice — and as this brand grows, so will the measures and tools we implement to ensure every visitor can fully engage with the experience.

Shipping

Most in-stock pieces from the On-Hand Collection ship within 24–72 hours. You’ll receive a tracking number the moment your jewel is en route.

Bespoke commissions are handcrafted to order and typically require 2–4 weeks for fabrication, depending on the complexity of the design. Every detail is tailored — nothing rushed, nothing off-the-shelf.

Have a deadline? Need something sooner? Inquire — I don’t love rushing high-value things… but if you ask just the right way, I’ve been known to make miracles happen.

All parcels are shipped discreetly, securely, and fully insured. A direct signature is required upon delivery, and we’ll always coordinate the shipping timeline with you in advance. Given the value of these pieces, FedEx Priority Overnight is my default — so nothing is left floating in transit.

Shipments within New York State incur a $95 insured delivery fee and are subject to NYC sales tax. Shipping out of state avoids that tax — a 10% savings just by asking.

For select clients in NYC, hand delivery may be available at my sole discretion. No couriers. No middlemen. Just me.

Returns

Each piece from The Other Hand by V is made with intention — and it’s my absolute goal for you to love what you receive. If something feels off, I will always do my best to make it right.

That said, fine jewelry is delicate — and so is the nature of limited-inventory and made-to-order work.

On-Hand Collection

All sales are considered final. However, unworn pieces may be eligible for return within 7 days of delivery, at our sole discretion.
To request a return, email info@theotherhandbyv.com with:

• your order number

• reason for return

• photos if applicable

Return shipping, insurance, and original packaging are the client’s responsibility.

Custom & Bespoke Pieces

Custom work is non-refundable. Every bespoke commission is made specifically for you — often using curated stones, original design elements, and personal preferences that cannot be resold or repurposed.

That said: if something doesn’t feel right, I want to know. I don’t believe in leaving clients in the dark — and if a solution exists, I’ll help find it.

There are never any unhappy surprises. Clients are asked to sign off at key points during the design process — including stone selection, renderings, and final approval — to ensure alignment before we proceed.

Duplication, scraping, or reproduction of any kind (designs, pricing, or photos) is strictly prohibited.

Pricing & Availability

Prices may fluctuate based on materials, availability, and market changes — but you’ll always know what you're getting before you commit.
If a pricing error occurs, I reserve the right to correct it and cancel any orders placed under incorrect terms.

Inventory is limited. Once something is gone, it's gone (but never forgotten).

Custom Orders & Deposits

For custom work, a non-refundable 33% deposit is required to begin design and sourcing.
You’ll sign off on all major design elements before production begins — no surprises, just anticipation.
The remaining balance is due in full before shipment or delivery.

Liability Disclaimer

Jewelry is delicate by nature.
Please avoid wearing pieces during workouts, handwashing, beach days, wild sex, or any other activity that could compromise their integrity.

The Other Hand by V is not liable for damage caused by:

• misuse or rough wear

• improper care

• loss or theft

• unauthorized alterations

Repairs or replacements may be offered at our discretion — but are not guaranteed.

Right to Refuse Service

I reserve the right to decline service, cancel an order, or end a working relationship if something doesn’t feel aligned — especially in cases of:

• suspected fraud

• harassment

• breach of these terms

Governing Law

All sales and disputes are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
By using this site, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of New York courts should a conflict arise.

Privacy Policy

Because trust, like a good jewel, is built to last.

1. What’s Collected

• Personal Info: name, email, shipping info, phone (if voluntarily shared)

• Order Details: transactions, preferences, special requests

• Technical Data: device type, browser, cookies (to improve site experience)

I only collect what’s necessary — and nothing gets sold.

2. How It’s Used

• To fulfill your orders

• To send occasional updates (only if you opt in)

Data is stored securely and accessed only when needed. I use reasonable, industry-standard practices to protect your information — but no method is 100% foolproof.
