The Prescription

You don’t need to know exactly what you’re looking for. That’s the point.

Maybe you know you want a diamond, but not which shape. You know you want presence, but don’t know what your budget should reasonably buy. You’ve read enough about color and clarity to have more questions than when you started. You have strong opinions about what you like, but no idea which specifications actually matter to getting there. Or maybe you simply know what you like when you see it — and have no idea how to translate that into something you can actually shop for.

The Prescription is a private, independent gemstone recommendation designed to turn all of that uncertainty into a clear point of view.

You’ll complete a detailed intake covering what you know — your budget, preferences, lifestyle, priorities and what you’re drawn to — alongside the things you don’t. You are not expected to know your ideal stone, shape, carat weight or specifications. “I’m not sure” is useful information here.

From there, I connect the dots.

I’ll weigh what you know, what you like, where you’re undecided and where your priorities compete. Then I’ll personally prescribe what I believe you should actually be looking for — which may include gemstone, shape, size or carat range, color, clarity, cut, proportions, treatments or origin considerations, and the nuances that matter beyond the grading report.

Just as importantly, I’ll tell you where your money is worth spending, where you can comfortably compromise, and what I wouldn’t pay a premium for in your particular case.

This is not a stone curation or an inventory pull. I’m not recommending what I happen to have available. I’m giving you the criteria I would use if the entire market were yours to choose from.

Your Prescription is delivered privately by email, complete with the reasoning behind my recommendations — so you come away knowing not only what to look for, but why. It also includes 33 days of private email follow-up from the date of delivery for questions directly related to your recommendation.

The goal isn’t to make you an expert in gemstones. It’s to make you certain enough to choose one.

You don’t need to know what you’re looking for yet. You just need to know what matters to you.

I’ll take it from there.
