The Details

The Design

A 0.57 ct natural unheated Madagascar sapphire, cut into a long baguette step cut and set east-west in a custom 14K white gold bar setting.

Rather than finish the pendant on a conventional cable chain, the linear idea continues through the necklace itself. Tiny faceted bar links are joined by nearly microscopic jump rings, catching brief flashes of light with movement and echoing the clean step-cut reflections of the sapphire.

At 16.5 inches, the scale stays delicate and close to the neck, while the movement of the chain keeps the piece from disappearing.

Simple on purpose. Bar none.
